Some haters out there had some nasty things to say about Fashion Indie fan Claudine Gumbel of Think PR and Caravan. Claudine had some words to say back. The conversation is completely classic. Thanks for giving us some good battle fodder Claudine.

Unfortunately, i would like to think that carvan [sic] is a creative and genious [sic]concept. But when you look behind the scenes into the people actually running the shop you quickly realize how “un-indie” it is. The front runner Claudine Gumbel is your stero typical [sic] staten island trash who is trying to be someone more then she is. -
Hi Rachel - It seems like you have an issue with me. You should give me a call at THINK PR. I guess if I am so uncool I guess I wouldn’t be organizing fashion shows, working the lounge backstage at the tents or organizing 3 events for Style 360. Also when you post something you should get your information straight since I guess I am not just Staten Island trash but also Brooklyn trash because it turns I lived most of my life in Brooklyn so I guess I am not just Staten Island trash but mainly Brooklyn trash. You should call me and let me know what you actually did during fashion week to know so much about fashion.

Be nice. I don’t see the need for haters at all. I liked the Caravan parties. Rachel, you are obviously an unhappy person. Don’t put that type of energy out in the world when we have had such a recent history of war, terrorism, hate crimes, etc. We really need all of the positivity that we can get.
