I don’t know if it’s just me, but I think the men have been getting better shoes than us lately. Wells Stellberger makes me jealous of the boys with his spring ‘09 line of Heutchy footwear. The former Marc by Marc Jacobs designer said about his first solo shoe collection, “I wanted to construct something that’s forward in design and concept but lacking pretense; something adaptable that mixes classic and contemporary.” Look for Stellberger’s collection at Oak this coming spring.
