To commemorate its 175th anniversary, Tiffany & Co. decided to strike gold…along with some silver and copper for good measure. Introducing Rubedo, a combination of the three precious metals, debuting in the jeweler’s new “Tiffany 1837” collection. The pink alloy is Tiffany’s first foray into full metal alchemy.
The Tiffany 1837 collection will feature an elongated cuff, ring, hoop earrings and a padlock charm — all made out of Rubedo — and will launch worldwide in March. Designs bearing the signature of founder Charles Lewis Tiffany, however, will only be available this year. [Fashion Mag]
