For all of you downtowners and de-virginized TopShop shoppers, soon enough, the billboards will fall and the doors will open for all of your shopping pleasures! Although the British native store was set to open back in October of 2008, an unknown date was set for early 2009 due to construction difficulties (I blame the recession.) However, with the leaked TopShop opening party at NYC’s very first store, scheduled for March 26th, 2009 at 9pm, the actual store opening should be just around the corner from that date! It is probable that the store will open its doors for the weekend and we could possibly have to ditch school and call in sick at work to be among the thousands of shoppers come Friday morning. For now, know that March is the TopShop ticket!
