Tom Ford Ads Banned in Italy

Does this ad seem offensive to you? Well if you live in Italy it should. The Italian Advertising Institute (IAA) has banned the above ad for Tom Ford sunglasses from the country according to Radar. Of course, the ban may have been more effective if the ads hadn’t already run in three fashion mags over there.
What’s odd is that this is the only one in the campaign that got banned. The photo of the woman grabbing the crotch of a man in the suit was okay for print, as was the photo of a nude woman ironing while a man sits nearby judging. So what’s the deal Italy, what’s wrong with a little oral action?

I love how this gets banned but the Tom Ford Orchid Perfume Ads with the model having her legs spread open and the bottle in between her crotch didn’t offend anyone. Funny, Funny!
Reply to Rebecca Alexanderthis isn’t just about sex. it’s about “fish hook” , hence “catch of the day”, further hence derogatory…
