Runway: Tory Burch, Fall 08

In her typical upper-east side meets 60s chic, Tory Burch kept her Fall 08 collection true to her typical style. Her party, however was a whole other back bend.

Held at Christie’s with The Fug Girls who put it accurately when they said there was drama. Burch’s ex- Lance Armstrong was in attendance and seemed to distract the usually calm and collected Burch a bit. The close-knit crowd was utterly thrilled with her smart collection and friend Aerin Lauder and others were in attendance at the sumptuous show. Between the crowd, the healthy looking models, the champagne and the vibrant clothing and party drama, this party was New York delicious!

Lance Armstrong was his handsome (also see. shaddy) self.  The overall feeling in the room was to avoid the film crews, as it seemed everyone was being interviewed, and not to make too much fuss over the high profiles celebutants standing on your toes.  Did I mention that the show was composed of having the models standing on a platform on one side of the room? It was a very artistic way to display the show and also maintain the flow of champagne!
