Trendspark: Backless dresses
Erogenous zones change with the times, a phenomenon that fashion can both create and follow. It’s often hard to tell which element sparked the trend. In this case, I must ask, which came first, the back or the dress? Either way, backless dresses are back and prepared to make you look fabulous. Sharon Stone, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Beyonce all look stunning in their personal version of the black backless gown. Bearing the elements of screaming toddlers, bored husbands and clinically insane housewives in a suburban mall on Black Friday, I was pleasantly surprised to see some fabulous backless dresses at Express ((above) of all places, I know). The sequined cocktail dress is my favorite, but they had a beautiful backless gown perfect for a formal holiday party. I need to snag one pronto for the upcoming season.
