TRENDSPARK: The Thigh-High Boots, No Pants Solution
Probably my favorite trend from the fall 2009 runways is the thigh-high boot. Even better, is the thigh-high boot sans culottes. This look is not only fabulous, but it’s functional as well! Your legs will always be warm, you have a about a .01% chance of getting your legs wet and people on the sidewalk will part for you because looking like a badass calls for a little respect. All right, maybe I’m getting carried away here, but it’s definitely a cool look. I need an extender for my over-the-knee boots; they just aren’t cutting it anymore.
