Vivienne Westwood to Write Sex and the City Sequel? The multitasking never ends! As if giving the fashion world modern punk designs weren’t enough for the British designer, Vivienne Westwood has high hopes to write the sequel to the Sex and the City film. Recently, Westwood wrote to the producers of the hit television show and film, asking them to use her ingenious plot for the next big screen hit. Sources say that Westwood has been “obsessed” with the movie since its release and that the designer has even contacted lead actress Sarah Jessica Parker about her plan to write the sequel. As many of you know, Vivienne Westwood designed the wedding dress in which Sarah Jessica Parker appeared in the film, but had nothing nice to say about stylist Patricia Field’s designs. Westwood declared that there was nothing cutting-edge or interesting about the fashions she saw in the first firm and, disgusted, left the movie premier after only ten minutes! This may be an over-analyzed prediction, but it seems to me that if Westwood were to write the sequel, she would design and style too! Although the production company for the sequel has yet to make a decision on Westwood’s offer, it seems like the designer has a lot on her plate!
