Also, what they’re doing is not that cool. They’re profiteering off of election hype. If they really cared they’d give the shirts away for free and open voting booths at the hundreds of locations they have across the country. They haven’t even launched a good campaign. It’s a half assed attempt to make some money off the election and doesn’t make we want for vote for anything other the death penalty for annoying gossip bloggers.

The Gap hasn’t aligned itself with any party, instead choosing to work with Declare Yourself, a non-profit organization who works to register citizens to vote.

It might just be a t-shirt, but it’s also a small way to get people involved and thinking. With less than two weeks until the election, I’m still finding friends who are undecided or not voting at all…and that scares me.
