Apparently, blonds don’t only get to have more fun, they also get paid. Walmart has been treating Barbie’s black friend like a cheap trip, selling the doll for almost $3 dollars less than the classic pale skinned, rosy cheeked Ken magnet.

Target carries a special collection of Barbie’s Famous Friends which includes Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett, Debbie Harry and … African-American?!? WTF?!? Target!!! African-American!!! I appreciate your attempt at being politically correct, but you can’t give this “nappy headed hoe” a NAME?!? And once again, the black Barbie is 5 cents cheaper than her white “friends”. This is complete ridiculous!!!
This is honestly the equivalent of Barbie saying, “I’m not racist, I’ve got black friends.”
Weigh in indies. Are you pissed off about this mistreatment of black Barbie? Or is this just business as usual at Walmart and Mattel?
