When They Became Porn Stars: Barbie

Barbie got a makeover and is causing controversy. Children’s advocates say Black Canary Barbie, who comes clad in fishnets, black patent leather “hooker boots,” and signature slick leather jacket, represents the S&M sexual subculture and sends a negative message to children.

And although this doll is meant for children 12 years and older, it does somewhat resemble a hooker, although it is meant to be more of a super heroin.

What do you indies think? Is this appropriate for children?

Thanks PopCrunch for pointing this out.
