It's very hard to feel sorry for someone who refuses to accept the fact that she has a problem. If she did die, it would be extremely sad, but it would be a reminder for our generation to beware of drugs and show some control. Watching The Dark Knight this past week brought up thoughts of Heath Ledger and the sacrifice his life was for todays youth. Drug addiction and overdose are very real threats that must be addressed. We would love for her to get help, to clean herself up, to come out with another album and to stop being a media punching bag, but then were would the lesson be? What would it teach us? It's horrible to wish death upon someone, and believe me the article was written as a satire on the whole situation, but can you really be supportive of someone who is purposely self destructive, especially when that person was offered multiple opportunities to make a change and yet uses her millions to prevent those who love her most from getting close enough to help her.
