Where’s Antoine?

Last night, while most of you were watching the latest episode of Weeds or whatever else non-fashion people do on a Monday, I was desperately updating my Twitter feed for the latest from the CFDA’s. @rzrachelzoe shared her style picts (she wore Louis Vuitton), @ideeli went gaga over Meryl Streep’s daughter, and @cutblog shared backstage gems including Kirsten Dunst’s mock acceptance speech for Rodarte.
Of course, the only Twittebrity I actually cared about was that of Antoine Arnault, Head of Communications for Louis Vuitton. He was set to give us updates via @LouisVuitton_US. I was glued to my Twit feed, prepared to live vicariously via one of my favorite LVMH’ers, but alas technical difficulties kept him at bay. Reception on his cell phone was horrible and he was only available at the end of the event to give us this little twit, “So proud to present Marc with the #CFDA international award… an incredible honor for his 12 years at LV”.
Hopefully, Louis Vuitton will give us another peek into their luxurious world, maybe even giving the cellie over to Marc Jacobs sometime soon (preferably on the set of the next Madonna shoot). Fingers crossed.
