WHY WE ROCK!!!

Check out some of the things we’ve done that gives us serious street cred.

- Daniel Saynt was on the Tyra Banks show back in 2006 for a show focused around racial discrimination in the fashion world. Daniel proposed to Tyra, still no answer.

- We are super Project Runway friendly. They come to our events looking for designers, we book their designers for some of our runway shows. Zulema Griffin, Diana Eng, Malan Breton and recent winner Leanne Marshall have all hit the Fashion Indie Runway.

- We also run Fashion Indie Week, a little New York event that features our favorite emerging designers. We’re kind-of famous for hosting the first fashion show across the Brooklyn Bridge and breaking a record for longest runway show ever.

- Fashion Indie has been featured in Numero Korea, Kult Magazine, Time Out New York, The Village Voice, The L Magazine, Elle, Uptown and over 100 fashion and lifestyle blogs.

- Fashion Indie has partnered with some amazing brands in the past including Maurices, Polartec, and H&M. Daniel has consulted on social media development and strategy for major fashion players and is currently developing projects with Mann Publications which owns FashionMannuscript and Zink Magazine.

- Daniel Saynt has been featured on a couple of shows including Travel Channels, Lawrence of America, BBC, Fox News, The CW, and MTV. Daniel and wifey Rebecca Alexander-Saynt just finished filming an episode of MTV True Life. Daniel was on True Life: I’m Going to Fashion Week back in September of 2008.

- We’re currently working on pilots for two shows, both focused around our wonderful fashion blogging life. Expect to see them air in June of 2009.

- Fashion Indie throws some pretty sick parties. Next up is a monthly fashion mixer called The Se7en.
