James Franco is an actor/heartthrob/PhD/artist/columnist and now is adding director to his resume. For the 7 for All Mankind Fall/Winter 2013 Campaign, James runs around with supermodels Lily Donaldson and Lou Dillion in graveyards, old movie theaters, and rooftops ending in a massive red paint fight. We’ve got access to the behind the scenes of the new campaign and you’re about to see a new side of Mr. Franco that you’ve never seen before.

7 For All Mankinds Hollywood Resurrection Directed by James Franco

Face paced, lively, and invigorating, the campaign offers a darker perspective on this Californian brand. Shot in lavish locations, Franco isn’t afraid to get a little dirty to achieve his look. His vision is one that says a lot, “I am trying to access is memory and how we deal with memory, what that means, how we remember people and who creates the lasting images of people.” he says. Parties, rock and roll, and paint fights. It’s a gruesome lifestyle made fabulous. Gorge your eyes on the full video below.
