Tyra Banks’ television show America’s Next Top Model has just been picked up for its 20th season. The difference this time around? Men are allowed to compete for the first time since the show’s creation.
In an interesting turn of events, Tyra Banks is looking to have two television shows out at the same time. Premiering this summer, America’s Next Top Model has been renewed for its 20th season. The twist this season is that male models are allowed to compete for the first time in the show’s history.
Finally we have a reason to watch ANTM again. Just when we thought that the modeling television show was on its deathbed, Tyra Banks is giving it emergency resuscitation in the form of male models to keep the dated series going.
Hopefully there will be a romance or a few attractive males to stare at next season, otherwise we definitely won’t be tuning back in. With the release of Naomi Campbell’s rival modeling show The Face approaching, we will finally be able to judge who has the top “Top Model” show. Place your bets now, but we’ve still got our money on Miss Campbell. Sorry, Tyra.
Tyra Banks is also getting her own scripted comedy show entitled Fivehead to be shown on ABC. Read more about its plot here.
