According to the European Union’s annual report on drug agencies, the UK is the leader in cocaine consumption in Europe, even out-sniffing the U.S. All of Williamsburg stunned.

And the UK Has Kate Moss to ThankThe latest figures report that 15% of all Britons, 18 to 34 years old, have powdered their nose at least once. Over the last year, 6.2% of 15- to 34-year olds claiming to have shaken hands with Mr. Charlie while, only a measly 4.5% of Americans in the same age range can claim to have licked the glass mirror.

Wolfgang Götz, director of the European drug agency, says that cocaine is still very popular in Europe because “[t]oo many Europeans still regard cocaine use as a relatively harmless accompaniment to a successful lifestyle.”

Well, of course it is. What else says “success” like staying up til four in the morning, blotting your bloody nostrils with tampons and talking about how much you hate your parents while listening to “Gold Dust Woman” for the 56th time?

…Or so I’m told.
