- Jessica Simpson can barely give her baby photos away. The new mother has sold them for a mere $800,000 to People, a paltry pittance compared to Jennifer Lopez‘s $6 million and even Matthew McCounaghey‘s $3 million. It’s a sad day when you can’t even pull that Wooderson dough. [WWD]

- Rihanna‘s got a second capsule collection for Armani Jeans. [Refinery29]

- Giorgio Armani has thrown his hat into the Olympic ring, designing uniforms for the Italian team and joining the ranks of America’s Ralph Lauren and the UK’s Stella McCartney for what he calls “the most fashionable Olympic Games ever.”  Well, considering athletes used to run around naked, perhaps it’s not that big of a deal. - Director Fabien Constant has gained “unprecedented access” to Carine Roitfeld as he films the creation of her new magazine, CR Fashion Book, for the documentary Mademoiselle C, which will feature interviews with besties Karl Lagerfeld, Tom Ford and Donatella Versace. [Fashionologie]

- Rumor has it John Galliano might take over the relaunched Schiaparelli label, though the man behind the relaunch, Diego Della Vale, remains cagey saying he expects to hire someone by September. P.S. I’m totes taking credit for said rumor. [NYT]

- Gwyneth Paltrow is the new face of “Boss Nuit Pour Femme” fragrance by Hugo Boss. The actress, singer, lifestyle guru and all-around brick house will appear in TV, print and online ads for the scent, inspired by the little black dress. [WWD, sub req'd]
