Who doesn’t love a good fashion friendship? When those hostile stares from across the runway become polite air kisses in crowded bathroom stalls become shopping trips to Paris and eventually become — if you’re Kanye West and Anja Rubik — an artsy porno video for a new magazine.

Anja Rubik Takes Us on a Sensual Journey Through Kanye Wests Mind [NSFW] [VIDEO]

The magazine in question is Rubik’s 25 and the video is a collaboration with director/photographer Barnaby Roper exploring the debut issue’s eroticisim theme. But how, pray tell, did Anja Rubik and Kanye West get into doing porn?

Well, it all started back when Kanye was a burgeoning fashionisto and was seen in more front rows than an editor at Vogue, whose seat he presumably stole. Rubik, being a preeminent catwalker, made her way into Kanye’s now infamous debut fashion show, which she opened.

Kanye, once he got back to his day job, then rapped a line about her in “Theraflu”/”Way Too Cold”: “Dinner with Anna Wintour, racing with Anja Rubik / I told you ma’fuckers it was more than the music.” And that more or less brings us up to a conversation the two had about porn.

“It’s funny. We talked about porn looks these days,” Rubik told The Cut, “and he agreed with me that there’s no porn out there that is beautiful aesthetically and integrates fashion to make a beautiful image…I thought it would be really interesting to make it seem like we were entering Kanye’s head. It’s not pornographic, but it’s very sensual.”

And if you look real close inside “Kanye’s head” — somewhere between the infinity of naked tit and the writhing vagina snakes – you can see Kim Kardashian wondering why she wasn’t involved in this. Video below!
