Anna Dello Russo to Release Music Video to Accompany H&M Collection
The teaser for Anna Dello Russo’s campaign/home-made music video for her H&M campaign is just as strange as the editor’s personal style. Peep the teaser after the jump.
Never to be topped, Japanese fashion editor Anna Dello Russo is turning accessories designer with her collaboration for Swedish mass retailer H&M. To help promote the line, she is releasing a home-made music video entitled Fashion Shower.
Featuring the editor doing some questionable contortions in an even more questionable short skirt, Fashion Shower might prove to be a hit in the making. Filmed by famed photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Anna is seen dancing some deranged Macerana with a male counterpart while chanting “fashion is uncomfortable”. The collection is slated to debut worldwide October 4th with the full music video dropping tomorrow.
Anna is definitely one of the crazier characters in the fashion industry and it’s no surprise that she’s stated that she wants to leave fashion and “finish as a singer and release a record”. Whether or not Fashion Shower becomes a number one hit (we’re betting no), Anna still holds an influence over the industry that is the equivalent to hit pop star on the music industry for sure.
