One of “les trois grandes dames” of Impressionism, Mary Cassatt, was perhaps best known for her mother-daughter works. She painted the day-to-day, the real interactions betweek the two, like here, a scene of Mom mending some material. What do I take from it? The way she mixed stripes and that light blue mint back in the 1800s. The soft brushstrokes give the painting a light feeling, making this look ripe for spring.
For the ethereal mother goddess morning look, a long minty gauze maxi will let it flow. EUR 215 Alice + Olivia
