STAR STYLE: Celeb Ink

STAR STYLE: Celeb Ink

STAR STYLE: Celeb Ink

I’m about to embark on my first tattoo, my friends. It hasn’t taken me this long (I’m 22 years old) to get inked because I was having doubts. I just couldn’t decide what to get, and when, and how…what can I say, I’m fickle and always have second thoughts. I’ve always loved Andy Warhol, the 1960′s and pop art culture, and especially superstar Edie Sedgwick. So her likeness on my back is a natural choice for me. Today I took  a peek at celeb tats to share with you all.

SHOP: Maurie and Eve Tassel Mini Dress, $162

I heard about the online boutique IDontLikeMondays.us from a couple of socialites/ clothing designers featured in Elle and Vogue magazines declaring that it’s a great place to find original and upscale looks. I just had to log on and browse, and thankfully discovered this unique Maurie & Eve white dress with edgy details.

In desperate for attention news, Peaches Geldof is currently under media scrutiny for nude photos stemming from a night of alledged heroin use and a one-night stand, which took place last Thanksgiving. Regardless of the photographic evidence of her eyes rolling back in her head, Geldof is denying any drug use this past year.

Curiosity killed the cat, or so they say, but it didn’t kill  Rachel Antonoff. The designer used crime-solving sleuths like Nancy Drew as inspiration for her Fall 2010 collection.

Terry Richardson Accused of Degrading Young Women

Terry Richardson Accused of Degrading Young Women

Controversial and notorious, photographer Terry Richardson has never produced boring work, whether he’s turning his camera lens on Barack Obama, Jay-Z  or the cast of Jersey Shore. However, supermodel and women’s rights advocate Rie Rasmussen spoke out against him at a party in Paris, calling his work manipulative and degrading towards young girls.

Model Mayhem: Anja Rubik Launches a Mag

Model Mayhem: Anja Rubik Launches a Mag

Model Anja Rubic and her boyfriend, fellow model Sasha Knezevic, have launched the premier issue of their new magazine, called 25.

In December, the duo capped off the re-vamped, 224-page issue of 25, which was already established in Vienna but required a complete overhaul. Rubik is acting as fashion and art director, while Knezevic is editor-in-chief and creative director. The Spring issue debuted in February (shown above), and their goal was to include 5 women’s editorial spreads and one men’s editorial spread. Topics will also include food, travel, film and fine art.

Unfortunately, for now the magazine is only available in Vienna and through 25magazine.com, with English translations in the back. Judging from the high art concepts (one editorial is supposed to be inspired by Egon Schiele and shot by Victor Demarchelier), it might be worth checking out for the photos alone.
