I'm Beca Alexander, Editor-in-Chief of Fashion Indie and President and co-founder of the Socialyte Collective, and I've been has been working my way up the fashion totem pole for nearly 10 years. After two years, the start-up bug bit and I left a cushy job to pursue the development of the Socialyte Collective, a creative studio for digital content from top fashion, beauty and luxury lifestyle bloggers. In the past year, I helped develop campaigns for Sigerson Morrison, Conde Nast Digital, Hearst Publications, Rebecca Minkoff, BeachMint, Lyst, Diesel, Micheal Kors, Stoli, and dozens of other brands, creating growth opportunities for various organizations and developing successful content marketing campaigns. Fashion Indie is where I share the story of my life, building a digital creative agency in one of the most luxurious industries in the world, while trying to maintain something that resembles love in a city of lust. I with my Creative Director, Daniel Saynt, tell the stories worth telling, bringing our readers a unique perspective into the exclusive world of fashion through the cultivated eye of two jaded industry veterans.
