The collection launched in high-end boutiques nationwide and has its own online store, with prices ranging between $169 and $300. The line is garnering some great media attention, and just went live on MaxandChloe.com last month.

The medallions are vintage from 1960’s France, and each tells a unique story. A boulangerie in Paris, a shoe store in Burgundy and even an insurance agency in Alsace: these pieces were collected as a reminder of where you bought your favorite pair of shoes or savored that delicious pastry and café au lait.

LA based jewelry designer, Kande Hall says, “I started collecting these vintage medallions on a trip to France. I began combining them with strands of pearls in earth tones; gold, black, white… then semi-precious stones that have a vintage vibe, and the magic just started to evolve.”

Kande’s jewelry is characterized by her bold yet feminine style… to be worn with a LBD or jeans and a tee. “I want the person wearing my jewelry to feel confident, classic, and sexy.” Hand-made and price conscious – these pieces take the guilt out of buying jewelry in today’s economy.
