How do you solve a problem like Halston? Once the de rigeur designer of the haute fabulous set — Bianca Jagger, Liza Minnelli, Jackie Kennedy, Babe Paley, Lauren Hutton, Liz Taylor; we’re talking Glamour here — the company faltered in the early 80s with the ousting of Roy Halston. Roy, too high on caviar wishes and cocaine dreams, had sold equity in his company in 1973 and was fired in 1984 only to die of AIDS-related complications in 1990. Numerous attempts to revive the brand faltered over the last two decades with the latest manicured finger of blame being pointed dramatically at Carrie Bradshaw.
With all the hussies running around in Hollywood today, we are dreadfully worried about the future of American celebrities. Called it. In a major coup for her neverending comeback, diva-extraordinaire Jennifer Lopez has given her first post-divorce interview to Vanity Fair — not to tabloid trash like People or Us Weekly, thank you very much — for the all-important September issue, featuring their “72nd International Best-Dressed List.” Honestly, whoever’s pulling the strings behind the scenes of La Lopez Inc. knows exactly what they’re doing. I’m not saying this divorce was planned but the next step would have been rehab.

- The sixth issue of LOVE is turning out to be the best magazine ever. 92 (more or less) gorgeous covers, an epic Mert and Marcus editorial and now this: Liza. Motherfucking. Minnelli. As shot by revered auteur, Terry Richardson. Take notes, kids. It’s called being a star. [Vogue UK]
The Dutch designer clothing brand has released that Hollywood bad boy and famed actor/director, Vincent Gallo, will star in there latest campaigns along side Gemma Arterton.
