ADDICT: Christian Dior Decides Against Traditional CampaignThese Marion Cotillard advertisements for Lady Dior (above – old, I know!) are here to stay but models and traditional advertising are gone. Fall 2009′s seasonal ads have been replaced with “star power” that is supposed to “give more meaning” and will more successfully “represent the values of a company”. That’s Dior CEO Sidney Toledano speaking, and I’m not trying to pick a fight, but Dior ads featuring models will certainly be missed.
