Coco Rocha and Zac Posen Dance to New York, New York While Shooting Lookbook

Supermodel Coco Rocha and fashion designer Zac Posen are old friends and that is apparent while watching the behind-the-scenes video shot by Rocha’s husband James Conran for the Zac Posen Spring 2013 lookbook. Both started out when they were young and chat about lasting friendships in the fashion industry.

Rocha and Posen collaborate on a lookbook that features something different than the traditionally stationary poses seen in most collection presentations. Now that the general public gets to see the lookbook, this has changed the process to a more innovative and visually appealing way to display a designer’s collection.

Watch and be amazed at Miss Rocha at work as she twirls, giggles, and poses in 50 different directions a moment. Rocha is truly a supermodel in that she is encompasses so much more than just being a pretty face.

In the video she states, “Models are still thought of as just models“, but Rocha is the complete opposite to that stereotype.

Rocha’s latest accomplishments involve being cast in Naomi Campbell’s America’s Next Top Model rival show The Facewhere she serves as a mentor to the young contestants (bestie Zac Posen will also make an appearance). She accompanied Zac along with Campbell, and Karolina Kurkova to the after party of Posen’s Spring 2013 runway presentation at New York Fashion Week and the runway show made headlines when one editor slapped another over a seating dispute.

Zac and Coco goof around during the credits of the behind-the-scenes video while dancing to Liza Minelli’s New York, New York. This shows that fashion industry professionals are not a serious as they come off and lasting friendships can come result of our stereotypically cold industry.

If you love Coco Rocha as much as we do, make sure to check out the silly faces her and her model friends are making during New York Fashion Week
