Playing on varying proportions for changeable silhouettes in a cool mix of chiffons and knits, Ann Yee has an aesthetic that gets the delicate downtown girl. Her look is versatile and flowing, blocked and billowing. And her knowledge of producing knitwear leads to a sleek product (she got her knitwear cred on the streets of of Elizabeth and James, Alice + Olivia and Barneys). Caves and the textures that lead down into the earth inspired her Fall 2012 collection. Layers with movement allow for depth. With Dr. Marten to take us down into the deep caverns, and Linhardt jewelry to be our rocks, we explore the fresh design eye of Ann Yee.
