The ladies of Emily Cho, Emily Gellis and SJ Cho, met in 2009 while working at the same contemporary clothing line and then finding that they shared a similar aesthetic, decided to set up shop together. Their line of gorgeous oversized clutches are already carried by Saks Fifth Ave and tonight at Fashion’s Night Out the gals will have an exclusive preview of their Spring 2012 collection.

Made in Italy from fine Italian leather, Emily Cho handbags are a steal with a highly agreeable  price point; medium-sized clutches come in at $465 and the large variety are $595.  And with their spring collection Emily and SJ are expanding from the oversized clutch and getting a grip with some new styles, featuring handles.

To shop Emily Cho’s premier collection, head on over to emily-cho.com and if you’re out on the town tonight, stop by Vermilion on 46th St. and Lexington from 8 pm to 10 pm to meet the designers, have a drink and a bite and maybe pick up a bag for yourself.

Story by Lester Brathwaite

I was center square from 1969 to 1978, during which I perfected the art of the zing as well as a crippling cocaine addiction. Bea Arthur was responsible for both. @LesFabian lester at fashionindie.com
