Walking into HONOR‘s Spring 2013 show was like stepping into a secret garden, and a very ladylike one at that. Designer Giovanna Randall used floral printed organza, neon dresses in voluptuous cuts and proper jacquard to introduce her wearer to a world of wonder after winter’s final frost.
Atmospheric instrumental music gave the air of Alice in her wonderland, perhaps after she took a pill, fell asleep and woke up in a magical world of peplums and ruffle collars. Neat French braids were adorned with crystals by James Pecis for Bumble and bumble, and almost every seat was adorned with a Deborah Lippmann nail lacquer in Sweet Dreams sitting in a plastic cube upon a bed of moss.
