It’s quite common for people to start experimenting with dye once their hair starts to grey. Our society generally avoids aging and white hair like it’s the plague. But we’ve recently been noticing some fashionistas purposefully dying their hair white. In fact, this 18th century inspired look is trending all around the city this season.  Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to rock it.

Unfortunately, white hair is a tricky look to achieve, especially for those with dark hair. Unless you have naturally pale blonde hair, you will need to use bleach to lighten your hair. That does NOT mean you have to bleach until your hair is white. In fact, please don’t because the white will be permanent and you’ll have more split ends than you can count. To avoid completely fried hair, here’s what you should do.

Like we stated before, if your hair color is already pale blonde you’re one step ahead. Otherwise, grab a pair of gloves because you’re going to be handling bleach.
