Kate Middleton’s McQueen on Display at Buckingham Palace
From July 23rd to October 3rd, Buckingham Palace will put the Duchess of Cambridge née Kate Middleton‘s Alexander McQueen wedding dress designed by one Ms. Sarah Burton on display as part of its annual summer opening.
Also available for public consumption will be the Cartier Halo tiara and the Robinson Pelham earrings Kate wore as she strolled down the aisle — and into our collective hearts — to marry Prince William.
And if that wasn’t enough to wet your royal appetite, the Palace will also feature the exhibit “Royal Fabergé,” chronicling the British royal family’s extensive collection of Fabergé pieces collected over six generations.
Frankly, I was already on board for the McQueen dress — I’m already crash dieting to fit into it should my plan to pilfer it from the Palace succeed — but the Fabergé is the egg-like cherry on top. [WWD]
