Every time model Kate Upton takes a step in a high fashion direction, she must return to her bikini-clad roots. The 19-year old is slated to star in a commercial shown during one of the most viewed television events of the year. The Superbowl. Not to mention our boyfriends seem pretty happy about it.
Kate Upton has become a fashion enigma that at first, we didn’t expect. Made famous for her “voluminous attributes” and ability to do the cat-daddy in a bikini, Kate has surprisingly landed numerous high fashion editorials and a cover of Vogue. Thankfully for the male population, you can’t really keep the girl out of a bikini.
Now at only 19-years old, Kate has landed one of the largest commercial spots on television. Shockingly cast as an “object of desire”, Kate Upton is slated to star in a Mercedez-Benz commercial during the Superbowl. Most people who are not football fans tune in just to watch the commercials, so Kate’s “characteristics” about to be featured front row center to the entire country.
Granted David Beckham also appeared in last year’s Superbowl commercial in his skivvies, so we have to give credit to where credit is due. We were allowed to drool over Beckham for H&M, now our boyfriends are allowed to ogle Kate Upton driving nice cars. We just don’t want to be in the room when it happens.
Kate better bring every flirty move she’s got for this commercial. With a lot riding on this commercial, we can only hope that it’s steamier than her sexy editorial for GQ Magazine.
