Albert Elbaz, head designer of French fashion house Lanvin, has been selected to design a box with eight little bubble-gum flavored macaroons for French tea salon Laudreé. Who knew the designer had a sweet tooth as big as ours?
France is famous for it’s many delectable delicacies, but it’s most beloved is the macaroon. That’s why Albert Elbaz, head designer of Lanvin, is collaborating with the tea salon Ladureé to design a collectable box of bubble gum flavored macaroons to debut at Paris Fashion Week.
Joining the likes of Christian Louboutin, John Galliano, and Christian Lacroix, Lanvin is the latest label to collaborate with the tasty French treat manufacturer. On September 25th, the decorated box will be available for purchase in France with the United Kingdom, United States, and Japan to follow suit on the 28th.
Fashion lovers better have their dentists on speed dial and post macaroon diet plans ready because if anyone can give us a reason to munch on some macaroons, it’s Lanvin.
