Marion Cotillard Graces the Cover of the Dior Magazine’s First Issue
French Actress Marion Cotillard graces the cover of the debut issue of Dior Magazine wearing the original Bar jacket and flaring skirt from 1947.
Dior is a classic fashion house that has created an iconic look. Now they are paired up with Printemp’s flagship to release their first issue of the seasonal magazine entitled Dior.
Shot by Jean Baptiste Mondino, spokesmodel Marion Cotillard is the first face to star on the debut issue of Dior Magazine. Wearing the original Bar jacket and flaring skirt from 1947, we think she epitomizes the trademark Dior “look”.
Designed by Fabien Baron, the 110-page issue includes an interview with Raf Simmors and fashion editorials featuring accessories, fragrances, and menswear. Available September 10th, Dior executive officer Sidney Tolendano states that, “It’s another way to communicate luxury. This is not a catalogue. It’s fresh and modern. It’s how we see ourselves; our own maison. I think it translates perfectly the mood of the company right now”.
Translation, Dior is a timeless brand that has remained relevant for over 50 years. And we can’t wait to see Dior’s magazine to continue to innovate with more groundbreaking modifications to their signature style.
