Just like Lady Gaga was the first to wear Hedi Slimane’s collection for St. Laurent, the first person to wear Raf Simmons’ designs for Dior come to no surprise. Actress Marion Cotillard was the first to wear a look from the Spring 2013 collection at the premiere of her film Rust and Bone.
There were a ton of fashionable looks last night on the red carpet for the premiere of Rust and Bone. And not only did Elle Fanning receive an A on our Red Carpet Report for her look on the red carpet, but Marion Cotillard also stunned as the first person to wear Raf Simmons’ designs for Dior.
Unfortunately Marion did not pick the most daring of looks from the 2013 Spring Collection, but it is still fall and Marion can do absolutely no wrong in our eyes. Her look may be sans the bright eye, but the actress, who is also the face of Dior, decided to go a more traditional route for the premiere.
So Marion got first dibs because she’s rarely seen on the red carpet not wearing the iconic French fashion house, but we’re placing bets on who’s going to place second. We’ve got the big bucks on actress Jennifer Lawrence. The Hunger Games hottie was just named the new face of Miss Dior and we can’t think of a better way to set off the actress’ collaboration with the fashion brand.
So all in all, who do you think dresses better? Anne Hathaway or Marion Cotillard? We tried to answer the almost unanswerable question here.
