Winona Ryder is definitely having a moment. After news broke that Bravo is revamping the cult hit Heathers, we hear that there might be a sequel to Beetlejuice in the works.
Holy crap, there’s going to be a sequel to Beetlejuice. Our fave 90s cult film is reportedly getting a second wind and Winona Ryder revealed to MTV at the Toronto Film Festival that they are in fact talking about making a sequel.
Rummage through your old VHS tapes because you’ll need to catch up on your 90s terminology. Hopefully Michael Keaton decides to don that striped suit again (which may we add, is very on trend right now) as Winona reportedly won’t do it without him.
None the less, we sincerely hope this pulls through. Question is, will Tim Burton’s butt buddy BFF Johnny Depp star? Lydia Deetz’s ex is a staple in the director’s creepy flicks, so we’re speculating there’s going to be a “Wino Forever” reunion. And while we’re more positive about this than the Heathers revamp, the 1990s are continuing to take over the 2010′s sure and steadfast.
