Are You Ready to Start Using MySpace Again?
Remember the good ole social media website MySpace that was inevitably killed by Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook? Well it’s back from the dead. With singer/actor Justin Timberlake as a main driving force behind the revamp, the website is relaunching to compliment all of your pre-existing social media outlets.
Long live Myspace! The social media website that was at it’s height of popularity during the early 2000′s is back from the near-dead and it’s about to relaunch into an amazing new experience. After a failed reboot in 2010, the website was picked up by Specific Media and then joined by singer/actor Justin Timberlake to create a new streamlined user experience that combines what you have on your Facebook profile, Twitter account, Instagram, and Spotify.
The site has fully accepted Facebook’s social media dominance, but are using it to their advantage instead. The new Myspace will refocus on the things that made it popular way back when; its music and photo sharing. Myspace may have a reputation for failed revamp attempts, but with its sleek new preview video, the site may succeed in becoming a compliment to all of your other social media outlets.
After watching the preview, do you think that you’ll be signing back up onto Myspace? With the lack of personal profile songs and the customizable backgrounds that made it fun in the first place, it personally will take us a bit of convincing. But then again, if Justin Timberlake personally asked us, we’d be right on board.
