Celebrity stylist Nick Arrojo gives us his style notes for achieving this crimson look.
Deep carmine shines on this luxurious mid-length style. The V-shaped bang adds a powerful signature to the classic lines of the cut, while the bold hue takes the look from simple to statement. We asked celebrity stylist Nick Arrojo to give us a few stylist notes on how to achieve this ravishing look.
Nick Arrojo’s Style Notes:
1. Go Minimal. While the hair remains dramatic, minimal makeup and pale brows focus attention on the unusual shape of the fringe.
2. If You’re Fine. A one-length square bob that falls a few inches below the chin will maximize your hair’s volume. This cut is flattering for fine hair, and can be adapted to thicker textures with some weight removal with a razor. Make sure your stylist tailors the cut to your hair and face.
3. Perfect Face/Off. The chevron bang is flattering on many face shapes. Ask for a thick fringe with outer points that hit just at the brow line. The higher the point in the center, the more dramatic the shape will be.
4. Shady Business. To maximize the strong lines of this cut stick to a single, all over shade. Red and brown colors provide maximum contrast against the skin, enhancing the unique outline.
