The Tracks of Hailee Steinfeld’s Tears: Teen Starlet’s “Irresponsible” Miu Miu Ad Banned

Edited by

It’s not easy being Hailee Steinfeld. Sure, being prematurely gorgeous and precociously talented, earning an Oscar nomination while barely in high school, having designers clamor to dress you for the red carpet and place you in their ad campaigns seems like a dream. And for all intents and purposes it is. But leave it to the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority to rain all over the young actress’ somnambulant parade.

Emmanuelle Alt © Garance Doré

Emmanuelle Alt is writing her own ticket for VOGUE Paris. I was not expecting a fundamental change in the Editorial Direction being that she has been the Fashion Director of the magazine for over ten years and collaborating with Carine Roitfeld. Thus the assumption that there would be little change from the status quo.

Kevin Freed Puts on his Best Abercrombie Outfits….and Doesn’t Take Enough of Them Off Again.

Edited by

Spotted; an overly pensive Kevin Freed leaning up against barns while pondering how many women his new cut-off shirt will attract in the new A&F campaigns. Photographed by Bruce Weber, the hot young hunk is unfortunately -ahem- wearing more articles of clothing than usual. Something’s wrong with this picture. Come on Abercrombie…after years of repeated sexually driven ad campaigns my Pavlovian tongue is wagging in anticipation of billboards full of scantily clad girls and boys….Just like I expect to be overwhelmed by a cloud of Fierce cologne every time I walk down 5th avenue. Lettin’ us down….
