Carine Roitfeld, by the Grace of Coddington, is coming back to the magazine world: ”I would love to do four times a year. Initially, I wanted it on the Internet, but it’s a lot of investment, a lot of time, I do not know if it suits me. I know that now you have to work with the Internet, and the photos are of very good quality on the iPad, but things quickly go out of style on the Internet. We’ll start with print. While she is no longer the editrice of Vogue Paris, Carine Roitfeld is still turning it out, now on her own terms. In her latest project, she styled the Barneys lookbook, gathering a collection of werqing women that move her, and dressed them in that way that made French Vogue so epic. Here, we’ve taken five of our favorite looks and (though we’d love to go to Barneys for them, a. these pieces are not available online, and b. pshh we wish) found their essences for less.

Don’t Expect to See Tom Ford in a Heel Anytime Soon

Though no stranger to caking his face in a little — or a lot of — make-up, Tom Ford wouldn’t be caught dead in drag. While extolling his love of cosmetics to the Daily Telegraph, Ford noted:  ”I was never drawn to walking in women’s shoes that’s maybe why some of them hurt. I never had a desire to wear the clothes. I’m probably the only man in England who doesn’t want to dress in drag. But make-up? That I’m serious about.” Whatever happened to taking one for the team, Tender?
