Noritaka Tatehana High Heel-less Lady Gaga Shoes in Paris Exhibit

Should you be headed off to Paris in the next several months, one exhibit you are not to miss is the presentation of shoes by Noritaka Tatehana. Archive pieces are displayed alongside the current collection – made-ro-order – at the Trading Museum in Commes des Garçcons. This 26-year-old has been making shoes on his own since he was 15! Thus, after a fair bit of training at Tokyo National University of the Arts, he’s out on the other side making Mother Monster-approved feats of footwear engineering. Look and lust:

VMAN Plays Futuristic Slice-N-Dice

Damien Blottière creates a collage of  the latest men’s  couture for VMAN‘s eye-catching editorial, “The Shape of Things to Come.” Tom Van Dorpe piles on the prints with looks from Versace, Comme des Garçons, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Lanvin, Paul Smith and Zegna. While AJ Abualrub, CJ Hancock, Ethan James, Michael Wozniak, Nicholas Madrid, Petey Wright and Paolo Anchisi strike puzzling poses. The spread appears in VMAN‘s “Decades Issue” already on newsstands featuring a red hot James Franco on the cover.

While she is no longer the editrice of Vogue Paris, Carine Roitfeld is still turning it out, now on her own terms. In her latest project, she styled the Barneys lookbook, gathering a collection of werqing women that move her, and dressed them in that way that made French Vogue so epic.
