Last night, FashionIndie found a fashionable port in the Fashion’s Night Out storm at Salvatore Ferragamo. We joined stylish party people like Anna Dello Russo and Hilary Rhoda to sip champagne and eat caviar while listening to Russian New Wave pop band Tesla Boy. See all of the fab photos after the jump.
What’s the verdict? Do we think sneaker wedges are ugly or awesome? We still can’t decide, but for those of you who jumped at a pair of your own on Fashion’s Night Out, we’ll show you what to do with them. Whether Guiseppe Zanotti (R), Marc Jacobs (L) or Jeffrey Campbell, here are 17 ways to lace them up impressively.
If you’re not trying to shop hop all across the city tonight, our best bet for you is Saks Fifth Avenue. They’ve mastered the art of Fashion’s Night Out and have filled a roster of incredible activities and meet-n-greets. What we’re most excited for? Um, meeting Oscar de la Renta, hello! You can play ping pong with the guys of NumberLab and Bespoken, and meet a few more of our favorite independent designers that will be happy to chat you up! We’re also pretty jazzed about our favorite Gleek, Darren Criss being there signing Vogue September Issues. Know the designers when you meet them with out quick cheat sheet, and make Saks your FNO playground all evening long. (Full schedule ahead)
For this year’s Fashion’s Night Out, many brands are celebrating in different ways. Some might have parities going on in the store, others have free concerts and giveaways, and then some have exclusive products that they will be selling. High-end shoe designer Christian Louboutin is releasing a three piece exclusive collection on FNO and they are definitely covet-worthy.
