NBC’s “Fashion Star” Will Give Away $6 Mil Contract with Macy’s, Saks and H&M

Edited by

There is no dearth of fashion reality shows on television with the pioneering Project Runway immediately coming to mind. But with nine seasons and a spin off under its belt, PJ Runway hasn’t necessarily set the fashion world ablaze. It’s doubtful NBC’s Fashion Star will be any different, but with a $6 million contract with Macy’s, Saks Fifth Ave and H&M at stake, its contestants will at least have something to show for their efforts besides an air kiss from Heidi Klum and claw marks from Nina Garcia.

Are Bloggers Fashion Editors?

I personally consider myself a fashion editor. Sure, it probably isn’t as difficult to be me than Kate Lanphear, but the work I do and the reach our site has can easily be compared. Swide.com has asked the question ‘Are bloggers considered fashion editors?’  to the likes of Hilary Alexander, Fracana Sozzani, Kate Lanphear, Zanna Roberts and Nina Garcia. Here are their responses.
