- Jones Group is reportedly one of the propsective buyers of Jimmy Choo, after the namesake designer and LVMH have dropped out of the running. Jones Group already owns Nine West and recently bought Stuart Weitzman, but if they want to build an unstoppable shoe empire with the acquisition of Choo, they’ll have to plunge a stiletto into the hearts of fellow bidders — German luxury company Labelux (which owns Bally) and US firm TPG.
