Style.com/Print’s 2nd Issue Emphasizes Fashion’s Individuals and Karl Lagerfeld’s Bitchiness

Edited by

Would Louboutin Sue this Artist at the Drop of a Hat?

Edited by

Last night at the art show at The Old School, I spied a hat that would get Monsieur Christian Louboutin’s panties in a legal twist. This red under-brimmed baseball cap piqued my interest as I warned its creator, Sean Kinney of Eddie Eddie by Billy Tommy for Real Quick for Fun, of a potentially vicious lawsuit in his future for Louboutin copyright infringement. Aware of the class action against YSL, he shrugs off concerns of ramifications as a good indie artist should, and tells me where I can get mine: the grand opening of American Two Shot

Quel Scandale! Paris (Fashion Week) Is Burning

Edited by

I don’t know what it is, but there’s something about Paris Fashion Week that brings out the crazy in everyone. Lest you forget it was around this time last year that John Galliano went swimming in a pool of anti-Semitic haterade, thus plunging the fashion world into a year-long speculative mission regarding his successorChristophe Decarnin had his breakdown and falling out with Balmain and  Kanye West dropped the biggest bomb of his career – and I’m not talking about 808s & Heartbreak. Not to mention a few months ago during the spring 2012 season that whole fashion calendar war was ignited. Another One Bites the Dust as Maxime Simoens Exits Leonard

Edited by

It seems like a neverending game of fashion musical chairs with the recent upheavals in creative directorship. The latest exit comes courtesy of couture wunderkind Maxime Simoens, who is leaving his post as creative director at French label  Leonard after only four short months. And guess where he’s rumored to be going?
