Jewelry is getting glamorously gruesome, and anatomically correct. Finger trinkets based on backbones and jewelry made of jawbones make you wish for a wishbone around your neck. We saw spines as bracelets at Mathieu Mirano’s buggin’ presentation and now we’re getting to know the jewelry designers that are throwing us a bone. 

More than wearing your heart on your sleeve, you’re wearing your bones on the outside. Heidi Gardner and her thick skinned peers are making jewelry, not for the faint of heart.
