From a glittery 1920s flapper with a whiskey flask hidden on her thigh to a mysterious beauty in a rainbow kimono with metallic cumber bun from the Orient, Marc Jacobs tickled my imagination with every look in the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2011 collection as part of Paris Fashion Week.
“Basically, I didn’t want anything natural,” Jacobs said. “I wanted everything overly stylized.” A rebel against the minimalistic collections as of late, Jacobs went above, beyond and over-the-top for Louis Vuitton‘s s/s 2011 collection, bringing color to the body and elegance to the face and hair.
I can’t get enough of this gorgeous collection. From the glitter to the fans to the animal prints, wearing any of these pieces would be a whimsical dream.
